Vavlog / Vaveyla Logistics is capable of carrying a wide range of project cargoes (including heavy and bulky project lifts like reactors, ditching machinery, boats, etc.), break-bulk parcels (steels, forest products) and bulk parcels as well as containerized cargoes.
Ships performed in the trade are 1500-5000 ton sea-river type vessels that are purposely designed to satisfy the specific needs of the market. Low superstructure and low draft allow them to navigate in shallow waters.
Our shipments to the Caspian Sea are realized through the Volgo-Don Canal in the navigation period. It takes vessels about 3 days to reach Rostov where customs clearance procedures for Volgo-Don transit passage are conducted. The vessel passes 18 locks through the Volgo-Don Canal and it takes about 8-10 days to reach Astrakhan and about 2-3 days to Turkmenbashi from Astrakhan.
When ending of navigation in the Volgo-Don Canal in November due to weather conditions, all our Caspian sea shipments are now realized through a combination of Poti or Batumi ports of Georgia by Sea + Rail transportation to Baku port, where the cargo to be transported to Caspian locations is loaded onto our vessels.

Caspian Sea Liner Services
Vavlog / Vaveyla Logistics works with Turkmenbashı, Aktau, Kuryk, Atyrau,Bandar Anzali and Baku ports in the Caspian Sea. Depending on our clients’ requests, we transport their cargo by road with fleet of lowbeds/trucks to the inner parts of the countries from such ports, and also provide services such as road survey for the transportation of out-of-gauge and heavy lift cargo as well as customs clearance.

Spring + Summer Rotation
Services from Turkish Ports to Caspian Ports are rendered by direct river type ships without any transshipment via Volga-Don channel to Caspian sea
Winter Route
Services are provided from Turkish ports to the ports of Poti and Batumi in Georgia. The cargoes directly loaded on the wagons in these ports are first transferred to the port of Baku in Azerbaijan and then the wagons loaded on the train ferry are shipped to the port of Turkmenbashi. Upon request they can be shipped to the inner regions as well.

Danube River Transportation
Vavlog / Vaveyla Logistics primary field of operation are shipments on the Danube river. Next to iron ore and coal of Ukrainian and Russian origin destined for major European steel producers, we also successfully transport grain, steel, fertilizers, liquids & oils, light petroleum products, heavy lift and oversized cargoes.
Our transports are primarily carried out by combined pusher/multi-barge convoys with a loading capacity of up to 15.000 tons.
